“Legionnaire for Mankind’s Health” is a Netherlands-based NGO focused on improving rural healthcare across Africa, with a particular emphasis on Nigeria. The organization, led by Prof. Dr. Ernst Josef Franzek, aims to establish sustainable primary and secondary quality education and also sustainable healthcare infrastructure and programs. They are actively involved in educational seminars and practices, as well as in empowerment programs to help individuals and communities to a substainable improvement of their standard of living without poverty problems. For instance, they recently organized a seminar in the Niger Delta to educate residents on healthcare and healthy living, and donated essential healthcare items to support local initiatives (Gbaramatu Voice News).

The Legionnaire stand and go for:
- Basic human rights for everyone from the very beginning of life, these are: enough and healthy food, clean water supply, adequate sanitation for every household and in public places, midwifery and adequate baby and infants care, affordable quality primary and secondary education.
- Reconciliation with people fighting for better life circumstances and human rights for their own people and communities.
- Respect of sanctity of life, cooperation in resolving common global issues of mankind
- Development of infrastructures for agriculture, industrial and economic development with access and benefit for everybody
- Promotion of middle-class development, avoiding or better prohibiting extreme richness and eradication of extreme poverty

The Foundation of the "Legionnaire of Mankind's Health" does not aim to make any profit. This is a special prerequisite in the statutes. The Foundation has acquired an ANBI status in The Netherlands.
